Briefing
The creative process starts here! We will discuss your project in detail, learn the ins and outs of your brand and who your customers are and start weaving a story that makes JK Rowling look like an amateur. We’ll take loads of notes and learn as much information as possible, so when we leave the meeting we are pretty much ready to start on the script.
Scripting
When it comes to a great animation – story is KING! We will break down your story into its basic elements and help you write a script that hooks the viewer and keeps them engaged throughout. Firstly you will provide us with a draft script, then our script wizards are unleashed to scribe the perfect words and tone of voice for your film.
Storyboarding
It’s time to visualize! Our creative brains will crank into overdrive as we brainstorm your story. We’ll toss around tonnes of ideas, looking for the best sparks of imagination. The end result is a beautiful storyboard that breaks down how we will tell your story visually. We will present the storyboard to you to develop the ideas further.
Styleframes
Once the storyboard is complete we will establish an engaging visual style to bring the story to life. These illustrations will allow you to see how your final film will look. This is a great time to give feedback as its easier to make changes at this stage.
Animation
Once all previous stages are signed off in blood we begin the voodoo magic of bringing your animation from concept to screen. This is the exciting bit where you can see the story in motion. Animation can take some time but like baking a cake all the hard work will create something tasty in the end.
Sound Mix
Like any good cake it needs a cherry on top. A good sound mix filled with wooshes, zaps and bangs is that cherry! We will add voice over, music and sound effects to your animation to really sweeten the final film.
